5-dimensional interpolator?

Aug 23, 2011 at 8:26 PM

Looking for assistance in terms of setting up and using an interpolator on a 5-dimensional grid.   I have data that will allow me to populate a value at all points of a 5-dimensional grid.  Data points along each axis are not necessarily equally spaced, for example one axis has points at 1, 2, 4, and 8.

I then want to enter a vector giving the location along the 5 dimensions, and get a single interpolated return value.

Is this something done easily with Math.Net Numerics, or should I be looking elsewhere?   I am more or less trying to replicate the capability of the interpn function in Matlab, except for a single 5-d point.

Anything that points me in a direction, code snippets, much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
