status of MKL 11.1 upgrading and MKL Extended Eigensolver

May 6, 2014 at 5:46 PM
Hello, I want to thank the team for the valuable work with Numerics.
I would like to know what is the current status of mkl 11.1 upgrading?
Since the SparseCompressedRowMatrixStorage<> is now compatible with the MKL sparse matrix storage, after upgrading to MKL 11.1, it should be quite easy to implement a call to the MKL Extended Eigensolver. Is it correct or am I missing something?
In case, I would like to contribute. What is the right way to do it?Clone a fork, implement the call and then open a pull request? I am new to Git.

See Issue 169, but feel free to open a separate issue for this. We may need to discuss how to expose this in the API and what to do in the managed case (where MKL is not available).

Yes, creating a fork and opening a pull request works best, see contributing. But other ways work as well.
